Laser Marking for products and projects

With the Laser Head  any FABtotum can become a laser engraving suitable for laser marking of prototypes, products and additional information.
Laser engraving can provide the client additional informations for your products, allows to keep track of product versions and revisions by hard-marking directly the product surface and lastly is a great way to improve the look of products with masks, icons and logos on many materials that can be engraved.

Keeping track of products and prototypes can be an hassle.
Marking the surface of these objects can be a valid non-reversable way to make sure versioning and identity is not lost.
Even if the marking fades in the long run, the engraved portion will still be visible long after labels have been consumed by use and moisture.

Provide additional informations to the costumer

Laser marking can be user to add useful product informations like product number for tracking, but also meaningful technical informations.
Voltage, weight, size, safety and health instruction can be marked along with certification numbers and everything else is deemed important.
Engraving on the surface is also more durable than using a card or plastic label.

Add a pinch of style to your projects

Leather, Coated aluminum and other good looking materials can be laser-marked with your logo or the customer logo.
This allows to add a layer of customization to the prototypes or products.

A graphical element can both be Raster (JPG,PNG) or Vector (DXF).
So a logo can also be filled with a solid black or any of the available shades that can be obtained by changing the laser strenght.

Add a cartouche to your prototypes and designs

Some projects, like Architectural maquettes are better presented when a cartouche is filled with the designer information and the product.
Cartouches can be made of wood,coated aluminum, cardboard, MDF and other similar materials.
While not strictly connected, laser can also be used to cut a spray mask or adhesive film.

Communicating your brand is important. Another use for laser marking is actually provide your product with your informations.
Your logo, a QR code, a URL or your catchphrase can be engraved on your products as well as on generic company-related gadgets.
